Stud Muffin

My little stud muffin (aka Luke) stood up in a wedding this weekend for Mark's cousin. He did really good. His uncle Todd was also in the wedding. Luke went up to the girl Todd was standing up with at rehersal and asked why she was "hookin with his uncle Todd." The girl didn't know what to say and all I could do was laugh. She said what do you mean "hookin with your uncle." Luke said you know when Todd makes his arm in a hook so that you can grab on to it when you walk down the aisle. What else would you call that but "hookin." That was too funny.

At the end of the ceremony the pastor told the bride and groom to kiss. It was silent except for one junior groomsman chanting "kiss, kiss, kiss!" I thought we had practiced everything. I guess we forgot to tell Luke about outbursts in church. The rest of the people at church were laughing. The groom later told us that made him so nervous.

Anyway, the wedding was beautiful and it was a very nice day for a wedding.

I need a scrapbooking fix!!!

Calling all scrapbooking friends...I need a scrapbooking fix soon. I think the last time I even touched my scrapbook stuff (other than moving it out of the way) was the last time we got together (April, May????).

We need to try and set something up for this fall.

First Day of School-2009

Well Luke started 2nd grade this year. He is less than thrilled with the idea of having to be in school. But he is excited to see all his friends again. I hope as the year goes on he likes school a little more.

And my baby Brianna started 4 year old kindergarten today. She will go to school 2 full days a week. She looked so small getting on that big school bus this morning. She was very excited to start school today (unlike Luke). She must have had a pretty good day because she was sound asleep on the couch at 6:00 this evening and slept right through the night. Good thing she gets to go to the sitter tomorrow and rest up for school again on Thursday.
